Dreamworks Animation is an animation producing company that has been around since 2004. They\u00a0are well known to the world having\u00a0produced numerous films including ‘Shrek<\/a>,’ ‘Wallace and Gromit<\/a>,’ ‘Chicken Run<\/a>,’ ‘How to Train your Dragon<\/a>,’ ‘Kung Fu Panda<\/a>,’ and ‘Madagascar<\/a>.’<\/p>\n

On October 12, 1994, three experienced hollywood\u00a0entertainment veterans gathered up and founded Dreamworks SKG targetting to create a new Hollywood major film company. Mr. Katzenberg, a former Disney executive, recruited his own animation staff from Disney, while Spielberg brought in some of his animation artists from Amblimation, located at London.<\/p>\n

In 2004, with Jefferey Katzenberg, Dreamworks\u2019 animation department departed from its parent company Dreamworks\/Public Data Images.\u00a0They made\u00a0an individual company that distributes and produces\u00a0their own animations and\u00a0named it\u00a0Dreamworks Animation. Since their foundation in 2004, Dreamworks Animation has won 3 Academy Awards<\/a>, 1 Golden Globe Award<\/a> and has been nominated for both Academy awards and Golden Globe awards countless times.<\/p>\n
