March 31st will come sooner than you may think.<\/p>\n<p>With about a month before its premiere, I thought I would check out what FOX has done to promote Weird Loners <em>via<\/em>\u00a0Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.<\/p>\n<p><em>This is what I found&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Facebook:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Since May of\u00a0last year, there have been a\u00a0<strong>total\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0<strong>13 posts.\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>6\/13<\/strong> released within two days of Valentine&#8217;s day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Twitter:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>30<\/strong> tweets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Instagram:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>10<\/strong> posts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Ultimately<\/em>, I think FOX is doing a poor job of promoting Weird Loners. This show may want to take some pointers from ABC&#8217;s\u00a0American Crime whose promotions began <strong>over\u00a0<\/strong>a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>It was definitely smart for Weird Loners to take advantage of Valentine&#8217;s Day for promotional value but that simply won&#8217;t deliver FOX the ratings they are looking for.<\/p>\n<p>Most of Weird Loner&#8217;s social media buzz relates with the audience&#8217;s ability to relate to the show&#8217;s title. Thus, if this show hopes to become a major competitor, they are going to need to step up their promotion game <strong><em>ASAP.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; The launch date for Weird Loners on FOX is rapidly approaching!
