Morris Chestnut stars in the Todd Harthan (previously known for Psych) series alongside actresses Jaina Lee Ortiz and Gabrielle Dennis. One of the writers credited towards the series is Nkechi Okoro, who is best known for Bones.<\/p>\n<p>The main cast and most of the writer\u2019s room for this new drama is very diverse proving that television for 2015 is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/monkeysee\/2015\/08\/21\/433214404\/television-2015-hammering-on-the-door-of-diversity\">\u201chammering on the door diversity\u201d.<\/a> It looks like Fox is trying to follow Empire\u2019s success with Rosewood, which adds a diverse lead to the network\u2019s slate. Rosewood will also act as the leading in show for Empire on the station\u2019s schedule. <a href=\"http:\/\/atlantablackstar.com\/2015\/08\/14\/meagan-good-morris-chestnut-continue-black-led-tv-shows-fox-fall-minority-report-rosewood\/\">\u201cFox has recognized that reflecting multiculturalism in its programming is absolutely essential to the company\u2019s survival if it wishes to have continued relevance to millennial and post-millennial audiences.\u201d <\/a>This adds to Fox\u2019s strategic plan to attract more viewers.
