Tuesday night\u2019s schedule overall is highly focused on female content, leaving Ryan Murphy with the slight hesitation as to whether men will tune in, or not. It\u2019s not a concern for <em>Scream Queens <\/em>creators, but it is a curiosity to see if men will become a fan of the show\u2019s combination of horror-like elements, comedy and drama.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" id=\"irc_mi\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/pmcdeadline2.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/02\/curtis__140225025459.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"127\" height=\"164\" \/>Pertaining to the show&#8217;s pre-production, it was interesting to read in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/2015\/tv\/news\/scream-queens-jamie-lee-curtis-ryan-murphy-emma-roberts-1201576510\/\">Variety<\/a><\/em> that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000130\/\">Jamie Lee Curtis<\/a> initially turned down her role, despite Murphy writing it specifically for her. Curtis\u2019 primary reasoning was that she had bigger responsibilities back at home. Not taking no for an answer, Murphy created a shooting schedule for Curtis, grouping workdays into four-or-five day periods at a time and limiting her travel.
