Although NBC has put a majority of advertising campaign and strategic planning into its other premiering show,\u00a0<em>The Blindspot<\/em>, one critic believes this might all backfire.\u00a0<em>The Blindspot<\/em> might be more in the public eye, but the line up does not flow the same as the Thursday night show. For example,\u00a0<em>The Player<\/em>\u00a0follows\u00a0<em>The Blacklist<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Heroes Reborn<\/em> in a smooth transition of high energy, dramatic television.<\/p>\n<p>Conversely,\u00a0<em>The Blindspot\u00a0<\/em>premiered on a Monday night following NBC&#8217;s\u00a0<em>The Voice<\/em>. These are bound to be two very different audiences: light-hearted vs. intense and calculating. There is also\u00a0<em>The Player<\/em>&#8216;s star appeal. Where\u00a0<em>The Blindspot<\/em>&#8216;s original plot is what will draw new audiences to the show, <i>The Player<\/i>\u00a0has Wesley Snipes and all the bells and whistles of an action dramedy.
