According to <em>Variety<\/em>, <a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/2015\/tv\/news\/empire-premiere-ratings-rosewood-1201601121\/\">\u201cRosewood\u2019s\u201d 2.4 rating in 18-49 makes it the young season\u2019s No. 4-rated series premiere, behind \u201cBlindspot,\u201d \u201cThe Muppets\u201d and \u201cLife in Pieces.\u201d<\/a> Majority of viewership came half way through the show, which comes as no surprise since the season 2 premiere of \u201cEmpire\u201d was immediately after \u201cRosewood.\u201d Also, the show advertised a sneak peak clip at the \u201cEmpire\u201d season to come in the commercial breaks during \u201cRosewood.\u201d Thus, \u201cEmpire\u201d helped to draw many viewers to the series premiere of \u201cRosewood.\u201d \u201cRosewood\u201d managed to pull one of the top ratings across every network, making it a series to look out for this season. I would be curious to find out if fans of \u201cLegends\u201d and \u201cNurse Jackie\u201d tuned in to see Morris Chestnut as a leading role. Chestnut has had his share of secondary parts amongst TV series.
