Coming in hot, Fox\u2019<\/a>s The Grinder<\/a><\/em>\u00a0second episode, \u201cA Hero Has Fallen,\u201d aired last night and to the networks\u2019s satisfaction remained steadfast with a 1.5 rating. Target audience 18-49 saw an overnight increase in numbers, calming any restless nerves.<\/p>\n

According to Entertainment Weekly<\/em><\/a>, providing viewers with an equally captivating and enjoyable follow-up to a comedy\u2019s pilot is a difficult task. The Grinder<\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0however, managed to pull this off comfortably. EW <\/a>attributes much of the success to the comical brotherly relationship shared between Dean and Stewart.<\/p>\n

Ratings were\u00a0not the only\u00a0thing\u00a0that mirrored\u00a0last weeks results. NBC\u2019s The Voice\u00a0<\/a><\/em>continues to hold its winning numbers while ABC\u2019s \u201cThe Muppets\u201d seem to improve each week. Both series placed higher than The Grinder<\/a><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0and its lead-in\u00a0Grandfath<\/a>ered<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>On a brighter note, Fox\u2019s 8-9 PM comedy series are demonstrating more success than the previous season\u2019s combo of New Girl\u00a0<\/a><\/em>and\u00a0Mindy Project<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
