The episode titled &#8220;The Lion&#8217;s Den&#8221; continued the steady four week decline in ratings for the show. The episode earned a mere 1.1 rating, down from 1.2 the previous week. However, the show was pretty average in terms of its competitors such as <em>Bones<\/em> which received a 1.1, as well, and <em>Vampire Diaries<\/em> which received a 0.6. The show&#8217;s main competition, <em>Grey&#8217;s Anatomy<\/em> and <em>Thursday Night Football<\/em> pregame only received 2.3 and 2.0 ratings, respectively. <em>Heroes Reborn<\/em>\u00a0was relatively average for the 8pm broadcast time spot.\u00a0These low ratings for broadcast may be due to viewers attracted to cable programs such as the <em>MLB Championship<\/em>\u00a0<em>Series<\/em> games on TBSC which also aired on Thursday night at 8pm and ranked #12 in &#8220;TV By the Numbers&#8221; top 25 cable programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Many also see the cause of this downfall to be the show&#8217;s content. Reviews have stated the show is simply not good enough to retain an audience with so many better options to chose from. Likely, the remaining viewers are the true <em>Heroes<\/em> fans, thankful for the revival of a beloved show.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Though <em>Heroes Reborn<\/em> has been showing a consistent decrease in ratings, reports of NBC canceling the mini-series have not surfaced.
