{"id":2392,"date":"2015-10-28T19:02:28","date_gmt":"2015-10-28T19:02:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bejone03.expressions.syr.edu\/trf594\/?p=2392"},"modified":"2015-10-28T19:02:28","modified_gmt":"2015-10-28T19:02:28","slug":"code-black-post-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bejone03.expressions.syr.edu\/trf594\/2015\/10\/28\/code-black-post-8\/","title":{"rendered":"Code Black- Post 8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Exciting news for both CBS and<em> Code Black<\/em> fans alike- the network has just ordered 6 additional scripts for the series, which means they have faith in the success of the show and will hopefully lead to a full season. \u00a0CBS has wanted a medical show for a long time, so despite <em>Code Black&#8217;s<\/em> mediocre but steady ratings, they want this show to stay alive.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the recent renewal news, <em>Code Black<\/em> has hired some exciting upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/bejone03.expressions.syr.edu\/trf594\/files\/2015\/10\/Unknown-18.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-2401 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/bejone03.expressions.syr.edu\/trf594\/files\/2015\/10\/Unknown-18.jpeg\" alt=\"Unknown-18\" width=\"97\" height=\"151\" \/><\/a>guest stars. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/code-black-to-welcome-cast-of-the-lion-king\/\">Alton Fitzgerald White<\/a>, who starred in the musical <em>The Lion King<\/em>, it set to appear in the November 25th episode and will play a patient who is part of a touring musical who arrives at the ER with a throat infection.<\/p>\n<p>Also guest starring in the near future, is Jillian Murray who will have a recurring role. Murray has recently appeared in<em> Cabin Fever: Patient Zero<\/em>. On <em>Code Black<\/em> she will play Dr.Heather Pinskey who is described as <a href=\"http:\/\/deadline.com\/2015\/10\/code-black-american-crime-story-you-me-her-1201583934\/\">&#8220;a sexy and smart cardiology resident and love interest to Mario&#8221; <\/a>( who is played by Benjamin Hollingsworth).
