{"id":2969,"date":"2016-04-13T19:12:35","date_gmt":"2016-04-13T19:12:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bejone03.expressions.syr.edu\/trf594\/?p=2969"},"modified":"2016-04-13T19:12:35","modified_gmt":"2016-04-13T19:12:35","slug":"coopers-guide-post-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bejone03.expressions.syr.edu\/trf594\/2016\/04\/13\/coopers-guide-post-10\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooper&#8217;s Guide &#8212; Post #10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The outlook for\u00a0<em>Cooper&#8217;s Guide\u00a0<\/em>has gone from bad to worse. \u00a0The show received another dismal rating this past Sunday, with a 0.5 rating and 1.09 million viewers. \u00a0However, that&#8217;s not the worst news regarding the show.<\/p>\n<p>The next new episode of the show is set to air at its regular time at 7:30 next Sunday. \u00a0After that, its future is bleak. \u00a0The episode that was set to air on April 24th has instead been pre-empted by Fox in favor of a Simpsons re-run to lead into a new episode of <em>The Simpsons<\/em>. \u00a0The following week, on May 1st, Fox will be airing the American Country Countdown Awards from 8-10PM with a lead-in of animated series such as\u00a0<em>Bob&#8217;s Burgers. \u00a0<\/em>That means the next new episode of\u00a0<em>Cooper&#8217;s Guide\u00a0<\/em>may not air until May 8th, if its even airs at all. \u00a0Fox could very well scrap the comedy by then, resulting in three episodes that were produced but could never air. \u00a0At this point the writing seems to be on the wall for the show, and cancellation seems likely, if not imminent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The outlook for\u00a0Cooper&#8217;s Guide\u00a0has gone from bad to worse. \u00a0The show received another dismal rating this past Sunday, with a 0.5 rating and 1.09 million viewers. \u00a0However, that&#8217;s not the worst news regarding the show.
