The hour long show is based around Kevin (played by Jason Ritter) who is tasked by God to help save the world. \u00a0Created by Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas, the producing duo is well known for shows such as <i>Reaper, Agent Carter <\/i>and <i>Law &amp; Order: SVU. <\/i>The show was originally called <i>The Gospel of Kevin<\/i>, with a couple cast changes. I personally believe this is because ABC felt the original take on the show was too religious based and did not want to lose any potential viewers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The new drama-comedy will air directly after the series premiere of ABC\u2019s other show, The Mayor. Hopefully they have come up with a way to keep viewers to stick around for the entire hour and a half of new shows. <i>Kevin (Probably) Saves The World <\/i>airs Tuesday, October 3<sup>rd<\/sup> at 10pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kevin (Probably) Saves The World is an upcoming drama-comedy airing on ABC.
