{"id":3233,"date":"2017-09-23T17:36:35","date_gmt":"2017-09-23T17:36:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bejone03.expressions.syr.edu\/trf594\/?p=3233"},"modified":"2017-09-26T16:58:10","modified_gmt":"2017-09-26T16:58:10","slug":"young-sheldon-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bejone03.expressions.syr.edu\/trf594\/2017\/09\/23\/young-sheldon-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Young Sheldon #3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With <em>Young Sheldon<\/em> premiering in just two short days, I want to look at predictions and expectations for the series.<\/p>\n<p>There is no doubt the premier will do amazing as it airs right after the 11th season premier of <em>The Big Bang Theory<\/em>. These fans will more than likely hang around to watch <em>Young Sheldon<\/em> at 8:30. The show will also be advertised during commercials on CBS all day.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/2017\/09\/will-and-grace-nbc-young-sheldon-cbs-menendez-murders-fall-tv-awareness-1201879029\/\">study<\/a>\u00a0done by IPSOS TV Dailies, which poled 6,000 TV watchers between the ages of 18 and 49 over the past three weeks, <em>Young Sheldon<\/em> has an awareness rate of 36.1% while shows like <em>Will and Grace<\/em> have 66.5%. <em>Young Sheldon<\/em> falls way above shows like <em>9JKL<\/em> with 9.4%. These numbers do not reflect how the season will do so I still remain very hopeful that <em>Young Sheldon<\/em> will be a top hit Fall series. \u00a0I look forward to tuning in Monday night at 8:30 PM on CBS.
