This post focuses on why ABC might have chosen that time slot and the pros\/cons of what it is up against. With a 10pm slot, I feel\u00a0<em>Kevin (Probably) Saves The World\u00a0<\/em>will be more of an adult show, rather than an angelic-drama for the family to enjoy. Majority of the cast are adults and with a religious tone, it most likely will be harder for a younger audience to understand.<\/p>\n<p>The hour-long pilot will be aired directly after 4 of ABC&#8217;s 30-minute shows (<em>The Middle, Fresh Off The Boat, Blackish <\/em>and<em> The Mayor<\/em>).\u00a0<em>The Mayor<\/em> is their only new series which have received positive reviews. The only problem is,\u00a0<em>Kevin (Probably) Saves The World\u00a0<\/em>is up against <em>NCIS: New Orleans<\/em> and <em>Law and Order True Crime<\/em>. Any viewers interested in crime shows, which there are a lot of, will automatically go to one of those shows.
