I am waiting patiently as <em>Young Sheldon<\/em> does not come on again until November 2nd.<\/p>\n<p>While I hate to focus on only the negative, for this blog post I want to look at what criticism has been said about <em>Young Sheldon&#8217;s<\/em> first episode.<\/p>\n<p>Although it received an impressive <a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/2017\/tv\/news\/young-sheldon-the-good-doctor-tv-ratings-premiere-1202573122\/\">3.7<\/a> rating in adults 18-49 and had 16.6 million viewers, there \u00a0are a plethora of negative reviews going around.<\/p>\n<p>TV critic, Danielle Feinberg expressed his\u00a0opinion in a <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/review\/young-sheldon-review-1042543\">Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em>\u00a0piece,<em>\u00a0&#8220;<\/em>context is important for Sheldon to be tolerable.&#8221; Such a remark applies to someone like me, who has never watch <em>The Big Bang Theory.<\/em> He also said &#8220;I think\u00a0<em>Young Sheldon<\/em>\u00a0will also be a better show the more it leans on Sheldon&#8217;s sister, Missy.&#8221; I am interested to see the personality of this character and how she can strengthen the series as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>The buzz around the TV show has remained pretty quiet for the past month since the premier so there is not much of an update on viewership and ratings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow, it&#8217;s hard to believe we&#8217;re already 6 weeks into the semester.
