This past week (October 16<sup>th<\/sup>), the show scored a <a href=\"http:\/\/tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com\/daily-ratings\/tv-ratings-monday-oct-16-2017\/\">2.1 rating in the 18-49 demo and a total of 10.9 viewers L+SD<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the L+7 18-49 demo, the show also keeps thriving. During its second week (October 2<sup>nd<\/sup>), \u2018The Good Doctor\u2019 \u201crose from a 2.2 to a 4.3 for an increase of 95 percent. . . [and] from 10.9 million viewers to 18.1 million for an increase of 66 percent\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/2017\/tv\/news\/delayed-viewing-ratings-the-gifted-good-doctor-1202595520\/\">Otterson<\/a>). During the third week (October 9<sup>th<\/sup>), the show saw an 80 percent increase in the L+3 18-49 rating totaling a 3.6 rating, and a 52 percent increase in viewers totaling 16.3 million (<a href=\"http:\/\/tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com\/dvr-ratings\/week-3-broadcast-live-3-ratings-oct-9-15-2017\/\">Porter<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>This consistency has given \u2018The Good Doctor\u2019 a high standing as the best new scripted drama of the season, only behind \u2018This Is Us\u2019 in terms of ratings. For advertisers, the show is \u201ca hell of a bargain\u201d with an average unit cost of $125,678 per 30-second spot that translates into a $46.42 CPM (<a href=\"http:\/\/adage.com\/article\/media\/broadcast-tv-report-card\/310983\/\">Crupi<\/a>).
