There was no twitter or instagram when they came out and they did all the marketing the old fashioned way. The revival of the show had me worried that they would stick to their old ways, but I’m happy to say that I’m wrong. Not only does the show have a rockin’ instagram with great behinds the scenes that gets fans riled up, but our four best friends post just as much to get their followers invested in what’s coming up on the show!

This is a great tactic for the show because everyone loves to see how the sausage is made, and just because that wasn’t a viable option the first time around, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be now. The cast gives us selfies, greenroom shots, and all around fun times with the cast to get the fans excited. My personal favorite touch is when the cast members, like Megan Mullally pots teasers for upcoming episodes to get fans to tune into the fun stuff they have coming this week.

Will & Grace became a hit long before the social media era.
