In <a href=\"http:\/\/tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com\/renewcancel\/cancel-bear-vs-fox-week-18-the-residents-prognosis-is-unclear-for-now\/\">week eighteen<\/a> of the 2017-2018 television season cycle <em>Cancel Bear <\/em>gave the show three bears. Now in <a href=\"http:\/\/tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com\/renewcancel\/cancel-bear-vs-fox-week-23-the-resident-gets-a-cautious-upgrade\/\">week twenty-three<\/a>, the prediction has increased to four bears. Overall the show has an 18-49 rating of 1.28 and a renew\/Cancel index of 0.58. With that in mind, any renew\/Cancel index above a 0.5 is highly likely to get renewed. If the show has a low renew\/Cancel index but a high 18-49 rating, then the chances of the show getting renewed are also very high. You have to give the people what they want!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>The Cancel Bear <\/em>noted in its article that if <em>The Resident <\/em>could remain above a 1.0 rating, it would likely survive. For the next few weeks it managed to do that. However, last week it fell to a 0.8, its lowest 18-49 rating so far. However, the chances of renewal are still likely.
