William Morris Endeavor

William Morris Endeavor (WME), one of the top A-List talent representation agencies in the entertainment industry, represents over 4,000 clients.  Their client list ranges from Matt Damon to Christian Bale to Eminemand Rhianna.  Their top agents include Ari Emanuel, Patrick Whitesell, and Dan Aloni.  WME came about in 2009 when William Morris Agency joined with the Endeavor Agency to create a superior and sophisticated agency.  They have offices in 5 different locations: Beverly Hills, Miami Beach, London, Nashville, and NYC.

The big news of the day associated with WME: who is signed, who is dropped, and the new agents that are either hired or fired.

Dan Aloni, one of the big agents to be fired from CAA, another reputable and leading talent agency, went to WME and brought many top clients with him.  Several of Aloni’s clients will not leave CAA because they have been there for so long and are more loyal to the agency than the agent.  Just recently on April 24th, Director of “Wedding Crashers”, David Dobkin, has decided to follow his 15-year agent Dan Aloni to WME.

New clients added to the WME power house roster following Dan Aloni: Directer Jay Roach of “Game Changer”, Director Michel Gondry, Director Tom Shadyac, Jim Carrey, and Chris Nolan, to name a few.  This change can show the loyalty actors have in regards to sticking with their agent.

Below are the pictures and a short bio of new WME clients:

Jay Roach has produced “Little Fockers”, “Bruno”, “50 First Dates”, “Meet the Parents”, and “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery”. He has directed “Meet the Fockers” and “Dinner for Schmucks”.  He is currently in the script phase on three feature films: “Used Guys”, Elliot”, and “Shy Guy”.

Michel Gondry is a critically aclaimed, world renowned director of including “The Green Hornet”, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, and has directed several segments for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “The Flight of the Concords”.

Tom Shadyac has produced and directed “Bruce Almighty, Dragonfly, “Happy”, and “8 Simple Rules”.  He is currently in the script and pre-production process on two feature films.

Jim Carey has acted in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, “The Number 23”, “Fun with Dick and Jane”, “The Mask”, and “Dumb and Dumberer”.

Christopher Nolan has written, directed, and produced “The Dark Knight”, “Batman Begins”, “Inception”, and “Memento”.  He has two feature films coming out this year “The Dark Knight Rises” and “Man of Steel”.

William Morris Endeavor also has the top A-List talent agents that contain many power houses in the business.

Ari Emanuel, one of the co-Founders and co-partners of WME, represents Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg, Denzel Washington, Michael Bay, Sacha Baron Cohen, and roughly 40 more top clients.  He is considered Hollywood’s “New Boss” and is a deal maker/changer.

One huge agent who left earlier this year was 23 year veteran of the agency, Cara Lewis, with clients Kid Cudi, Soulja Boy, The Roots, and plenty more.  Many clients did not follow her and thus stayed at WME and went to other agents.
