At last, this Thursday, Young Sheldon returns on CBS at 8:30/7:30c. The show will follow The Big Bang Theory, of which the show is a spin off of. With such a strong lead in, we can expect the same large number of audience members we saw on September 25 when the show first aired. Other shows airing at the same time include Grey’s Anatomy, The Good Place, and Gotham. Fortunately, Young Sheldon brings in a different audience so this should not affect their viewership. As a reminder, the season premier of Young Sheldon drew in 17.2 million viewers and a 3.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic!! Young Sheldon’s original time slot of Monday at 8:30/7:30c has been taken by the new sitcom 9JKL. Both The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon have moved to Thursdays with Young Sheldon airing after Thursday Night Football has ended. I look forward to watching the second episode and following the reviews prior!
