“Splitting Up Together” is a family comedy being brought to us this spring by ABC. Based on a Danish show by the same name, this show follows a family where marriage just isn’t working out. Lena & Martin have decided their relationship isn’t working out and choose to get a divorce, nothing shocking about that right? But what happens when you learn they will continue to live together but take turns as the parent on duty?

One of the show’s creators, Emma Kapnek, formally created another show for ABC which was cancelled in its first season. Now she is trying again and learning from her past mistakes to create a comedy that was worthy of being called an ABC family comedy.

The show premieres Tuesday March 27th at 9:30pm on ABC.
