The Muppets show improved in the ratings in its second week. This week the 18-49 viewer rating went up a tenth of a point to 2.9. Over 9 million viewers tuned into the second episode of The Muppets.

The show aired against The Voice, NCIS, Scream Queens and The Flash in the 8pm time slot on September 29^th, 2015. The Voice and NCIS are already established as fan favorites. Both of those shows had more people tuning in than The Muppets. This was not the large improvement in ratings like ABC was hoping for, but you know the saying, “slow and steady wins the race”.

The second episode focuses on Miss Piggy as she starts to date Josh Groban, but unfortunately their love begins to taint Miss Piggy as she starts to view the world in a more ‘Groban’ way. Kermit tries to break them up to save the show.
