Advertisers have been keeping an eye on this successful run. The focus of advertisers used to be the C3 ratings, but they have noticed that the numbers in the C7 category are more encouraging. While C3 viewership increases almost a quarter of a million viewers, viewership in the C7 category increases more than half a million viewers. ‘The Good Doctor’ wins this particular race with an increase of 48% percent in the C7 category going from an average L+SD rating of 2.1 to an average C7 rating of 3.1 in the 18-49 demo during the first three weeks of the fall season.
