A.P. Bio #2

Thursday February 1st saw the preview premiere of this new show. Compared to AP Bio’s predecessor this show seems to be hopeful. In its Finale last week, “Great News” had a rating of 0.5 and a share of 2. This week with “A.P. Bio” in place of “Great News”, the show had a rating of 0.8 and a share of 3. The show had been being advertised on NBC commercial breaks which may have helped the ratings but the next question will be how they compare when the show launches into its regular schedule come March.

Additionally of interest is comparing how much of the “Will and Grace” audience, which normally airs at 9:00pm, stayed tuned in to watch “A.P. Bio”. “Will and Grace” on Thursday had 4.13 million viewers. A.P. Bio had 3.13 million viewers. So “A.P. Bio” did lose some of “Will and Grace’s” audience but it still theoretically retained a significant portion of it assuming not many of that 3.13 million were new viewers tuning into NBC.
