“Rosewood” Post #7

In an effort to stay relevant and alive after weeks of declining viewership, Fox’s “Rosewood” is bringing a slew of stars to gain excitement and buzz around the series. Taye Diggs has been added to the cast list in a reoccurring role opposite Morris Chestnut. The two are no strangers to each other, since they both have starred in “The Best Man Holiday” together. Taye Diggs has just ended a Broadway run of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”, where he played the lead after Neil Patrick Harris reprised the role. Taye Diggs will play a renowned disease doctor and longtime friend of Morris Chestnut’s character. Diggs has had experience in other medical shows such as “Private Practice” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” thus the casting move could also prove to be a strategic plan to gain viewership from loyal fans of those two veteran and successful medical drama series. The episode is said to air mid November.
